After Andromeda’s heart, a 5-track follow-on demo, Galaxies, marked an evolution in their arrangements and sound, with cleaner song structures and more straightforward riffs, without compromising on the orchestration. With no commercial ambition on its own, Galaxies set the foundation for what would later become their first LP Nebula Trance with several songs reused and vocals plus guitars overdubbed in the final production: Towards (renamed as Sons Of Khaos), Stellar Dominion (renamed as Stellar Circle), Polaris, Eyes Of Madness and Xperience Life. Production-wise, the same equipment was used to record Nebula Trance as Andromeda’s Heart. The mixing and production of Nebula Trance has the distinctive sound and aesthetics also heard on Wired (2003) and Sounds Of Dark Matter (2021)

  • Sons of Khaos – the whole song was built around the catchy piano intro, inspired from a piece of baroque music composer Alessandro Scarlatti (1660-1725), this song was played live at nearly every subsequent show.
  • Stellar – is a remake of Stellar Dominion (as heard on the Andromeda’s Heart demo), with the same synth theme, and a break with odd time signature. It was entirely reworked as an energetic piece.
  • In the Heart of A. – is a revisiting of the song Andromeda’s Heart  (as heard on the Andromeda’s Heart demo), where it originally started by reusing riffs from the original song, but evolved in a more electro-drumbeat vibe with none of the original riffs present.
  • One Day, One Life – is the band’s first ballad, where the bold piano use was directly inspired from Samael’s Being, a jazzy piece from the album Eternal.
  • Ozymandias – A longer epic song, built around a theme, where the main direction was directly inspired from Kovenant’s song Mirrors Paradise.
